Compatibility
There is still some confusion about the labeling of the most recent iPod touch release. While it has become commonly referred to as the third generation iPod touch, the newer 32GB and 64GB models are still considered by Apple to be second generation. The Surge for iPod touch is compatible with the both older 8GB/16GB/32GB second generation iPod touches and the newer 32GB/64GB second generation iPod touches.
